Stan Leff
Stanley Leff, Immediate Past President
Stanley Leff is a retired Family Physician, who came to Sacramento in 1973. He participated in a Young Leadership Program in the 1980’s, He has been on the Jewish Federation Board in the past, was on the Board and was President of the Jewish Family Service In the 1980’s, when it was an independent Agency. He joined the Einstein Jewish Residential Center Board in 2021. He worked alongside Rabbi Matt Rosenberg in the successful sale of the Einstein Residential Center in 2023-2024
Stanley is originally from Houston, Texas. He attended Columbia University for his undergraduate work and Baylor Medical School for his Medical Degree. He did his Family Practice Residency in Sacramento , California, worked at UC Davis as an Emergency Room Attending Physician for 3 years and joined Sutter Medical Group as a Family Physician, practicing first in Citrus Heights and then in Roseville California. For the last 8 years of his practice, he was a Vice President of the Sutter Medical Group Physicians, responsible for managing the Medical practices in Roseville and surrounding area clinics in addition to his Family Practice duties.
He is a member of Congregation Bnai Israel, is married to Marion Leff and has 2 children and 4 grandchildren. In his spare time he enjoys cycling, walks, reading and traveling. He is committed to using the Funds from the sale of Einstein to establish an endowment that will benefit the entire community in support of our Seniors and others in remaining Independent and well cared for in their homes or living centers.
